Beatriz Bacarizo Herrer earned a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Universidad de Granada, with a specialization in French and German. After working as a Spanish Language Assistant in France, she continued her teaching career in the Czech Republic where she spent six years teaching Spanish in language schools and at the Instituto Cervantes in Prague as an official DELE examiner.

Herrer also worked as a Spanish lecturer in higher education from 2022 to 2024 at Anglo-American University and at University of New York in Prague (UNYP). During this period, she completed a Master鈥檚 degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education at Universidad Internacional Men茅ndez Pelayo. In the 2024鈥�2025 academic year, she served as a Spanish lecturer at the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, Vietnam, as part of the MAEC-AECID Lectorship Programme. Since returning to Prague in 2026, she remains actively involved in teacher training and professional conferences, with academic interests in pragmatics, cognitive grammar, and gamification.
