About the School
The undergraduate programs offered within the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences provide a firm grounding in a broad spectrum of subjects, including psychology, sociology, literature, philosophy, history, art history, studio art, reporting, writing, visual culture, and new media. The MA in Liberal Studies program builds upon a foundation thus laid and provides graduate students the opportunity to explore the liberal arts in greater depth.
A flexible curriculum, with multiple elective and concentration options, allows you to customize your degree according to your personal interests and aspirations. You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse group of esteemed scholars and professionals, while encountering varied perspectives and becoming acquainted with a comprehensive range of theoretical, research, and creative methods. This knowledge you will then be put into practice, ultimately developing into a proficient and versatile, well-rounded professional.
